The Warrensburg Jr/Sr School is home to students in grades 7-12. With 35 classrooms, 2 gyms, and 1 library, we educate over 300 students annually. The high school is located at 1 James Street, Warrensburg NY, around the corner from The Richard’s Library.
During the school year, our school district will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision program, which provides no-cost meals to all students. CEP is a federal provision that allows qualifying schools to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students.
Our Pupil Personnel Services and Counseling Services provide guidance and extra help for students.
Warrensburg CSD offers full-day pre-kindergarten and kindergarten to eligible students. Learn more about enrolling students here.
Message from the Principal
Welcome to the Warrensburg Jr/Sr High School! At the High School, we help our students make a graduation plan that includes education, extracurricular involvement, and personal development. Our goal is that all Warrensburg CSD graduates leave our school not only with a strong academic base, but able to display maturity in five key areas; leadership, communication, integrity, empathy, and perseverance.
All students deserve the chance to build on their interests. The district and larger community come together to offer extracurriculars that are valuable to personal development to our students. You can find a list of the current extracurriculars we have below or visit our athletics department for a list of our official sport teams.
We want to work with families to help students become the best version of themselves they can be. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions that are not answered by our webpage.
Thank you for your time,
Jeff Holcomb, Jr/Sr High School Principal
The Warrensburg Difference
In recent budgets, WCSD has prioritized bringing programs focussed on expanding future opportunities to students. Interested students should reach out to their school counselor for more information. To see all of the courses offered to students in the Sr. High School, please review the Sr. High School Academic Handbook.
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT Program)
The district is partnering with WSWHE BOCES to bring an Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) program to the Warrensburg Jr./Sr. High School. The program is based on the standards Common Career and Technical Core, as well as NYS requirements for EMT-B certification. The program is open to eleventh- and twelfth-grade students interested in pursuing a career as an EMT. Participants will learn about the role of an EMT, including, how to respond to 911 calls, rapidly assess conditions, and administer life-saving interventions, such as CPR, bleeding control, and medication administration.
Construction Trades Program (CTE)
The Construction Trades Program is a two-year course open to juniors and seniors. This course enables students to earn NCCER credentials in the areas of construction, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical and home maintenance.
Electives
Last school year, the school hosted an “Elective Fair,” where students could explore potential class offerings and note which they want to take. We are currently evaluating all of our electives to determine how to best engage students.

Dignity For All Students Act (DASA)
The goal of the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) is to provide students with a safe and supportive learning environment that is free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment and bullying. Some of the law requirements include: establishing anti-harassment and discrimination policies, creating school training programs, and including a course in civility, citizenship and character education in the curriculum for every grade level. To view the policies and process for reporting harassment, bullying and discrimination, click here.
Each school in the district has a coordinator who has been trained to respond to issues related to DASA. For concerns relating to DASA in the Jr/Sr High School School, please get in touch with Christian Bruce (Director of Pupil Personnel Services) or Jeff Holcomb (Jr/Sr High School Principal).
